Melissa
Melissa is a 35 year old Army wife to her deployed husband, and the mother of three girls. Two are toddlers and the third is a teen, lending to her bouts of insanty. Melissa and her husband Tom are still deciding whether or not they will have "one more" while Melissa tries to figure out how to convince Tom that homebirth is a good thing.
My journey...
My "crunchification" began when my youngest began to develop food allergies. Our pediatrician would not order allergy tests due to her age until I threatened to stop vaccinating. As I began researching which vaccines she shouldn't have due to an egg allergy I began to open my eyes to many issues with vaccines. As such, we no longer vaccinate any of our children nor will we vaccinate any future children. Of course, this one issue opened my eyes to many, many others... and hense my journey began. I can honestly say that this is ENTIRELY Stephanie's fault. Ok, well... she helped.

My Children....
Morganne was born in 1994 and is a healthy (and moody) teen with the exception of dealing with Celiac Disease. Samantha (2005) is my non-stop power girl. She has shown a food allergy to shell fish and is speech delayed after what I now know was a severe vaccine reaction. Kassandra (2006) is my baby. She's had a rough few months since she weaned herself from momma's milk. She stopped gaining weight and dropped to the 5th percentile before the clinic got a new pediatrician. One visit with him and we were referred to a specialist who immediately diagnosed Kasi with Celiac Disease.
Other than the above, we're a healthy family, getting healthier. My children no longer recieve vaccinations, we are learning more about homeopathy and home remedies, the benifits of going organic and slowly but surely working our way toward "Chuck-like Crunchiness" (yes, thats one of Steph's jokes).
